Dr Steven Gelbard has been practicing Neurological Surgery for over 14 years, after 17 years of excellent extensive training, including medical school, internship, residency training, and fellowships.  Included in his training, Dr Steven Gelbard spent time at Harvard University, Brown University, Tufts University, New York University, University of Vermont, and several other excellent institutions of training.    Dr Steven Gelbard has been practicing Neurological Surgery for over 14 years, following about 17 years of intensive training.  Dr. Steven Gelbard graduated from Tufts University School of Medicine, and then did a general surgical internship at New York University.  He completed his Neurosurgery Residency Program at the University of Vermont, and did fellowships in Neurosurgery and Neurology at Brown University's teaching hospital, Rhode Island Hospital.  He also did fellowship training at Harvard University affiliated Boston Children's Hospital.  He did his undergraduate studies at RPI in New York.  He also did additional training throughout the country.  Dr Steven Gelbard has been a guest lecturer at various medical meetings throughout the country. He is certified in laser-micro-surgery of the spine, including laser microdiscectomy.  He has had special training in spine stabilization and spinal instrumentation.  He has US Patents related to inventions for spinal instrumentation.  His work and inventions have been the subject of several TV shows and news and magazine articles.
